Very spacious room with French windows that open. The air conditioning worked very well and was quiet. The room decor made you feel like you were staying in a Chateau.

Gracious greeting, lift for bags, lovely room with a terrace. Only gripe is no shower, but as we were only there one night, we made do with baths. Location was ideal for a short stay.

The madam has been working hard to make the hotel the best in the area. Artwork everywhere, attention to detail…best location in the famous residential area in the heart of the city… cardinal has long been my hog to hotel in the region. The madam adds a very special personal touch to everything .

Great location. Easy walking distance to everything. Everything was a little bit ‘quaint’ in the room and we had to carry our heavy luggage up a narrow steep set of stairs to get to our room. But great view from windows on top floor!

Our go-to on Aix.

We have stayed here several times before which should tell you everything you need to know. Friendly, warm, cosy, close to restaurants and the market on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

This is a beautiful old building with lovely antique furniture and filled with high-quality original paintings. It is a virtual museum. Our room had a closed in patio and a complete kitchen! The bldg has a fantastic location across the square fin a church snd the Museum Granet, and is one short block to Old Town. A small bus (holding 6 passengers) stops on the corner, costs 1,30€ and takes a loop through OldTown. We'd loved the hotel, wonderful stall, very convenient location, and excellent, reasonable breakfast (only 11€}. We recommend it highly and plan to return!

This hotel is charming. While it has modern amenities, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time with the high bedroom ceiling and decor. It’s close to Main Street where the Market happens, as well as the restaurants. It’s nice place to stay while in town.

It was like having our own apartment with separate kitchen in a quiet square across from a museum/ art gallery & actual hotel was round corner which was fine. Loved it. No lift but drawback was just shower in bath without curtain or screen so wet floor.

Charming. I think it’s an old Victorian house that has been refurbished and decorated with authentic antiques. Also, all of the art is original which I really appreciate and there is a lot of it. I highly recommend this hotel.
