An amazing place to stay close to the North Cascades Park. Located in a cool city : Winthrop with an old - school , western climate. The room has all amenities needed. Very quite and comfortable.

The property has well maintained grounds and a good location. The Manager is new and working hard to improve the interior and exterior of the hotel which is dated. Towels and toiletries for the bathroom are great, bed linen not so great and the beds are very soft. It is walking distance to the best pizza place ever, East 20 Pizza.

Hotel is inexpensive and provides what is expected except for bed quality. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and a full night sleep was impossible due to the sagging nature of what felt like a half inflated air mattress.

Not impressed with this hotel. They are trying to upgrade the rooms a bit but place as a whole is very run down. There was a piece of chewed up gum on the floor when we got there , lock on the door was loose and there wasn’t a hairdryer in the room which is standard procedure.

No staff on site, everything is handled through a central phone line. Room was not cleaned, popcorn still under bed from previous guests and toilet was not cleaned (don’t ask how I know). The room seemed like it was freshly renovated, new flooring, vanity, bed/mattress, and AC which came in amazingly since it was smoky and hot during our visit. Lots of parking, next to a small grocery store and only two stories tall with balconies on floor two.

The outside looks a little unkept, but the room was clean, cute, and comfortable. No elevator and I believe I asked for floor level but that didn’t happen. Could have been my mistake. No one was on property but clear instructions were left for door code. A little pricey for what it was.

It had the bed, toilet, AC, secure door, coffee maker, fridge and microwave in one room but the shower handle came off in my hand but there was no hair dryer as advertised. And in the 2nd room I bought there was no microwave or hair dryer.

Floors were filthy, we kept finding long black hairs on the floor. We didn’t spend much time in the room, just there to sleep while we enjoyed the lake. We never saw the staff, the office was closed most of the time. We never did find WiFi password. Also, Expedia has the worst customer service!!!
