Beautiful hotel with character and history located in easy walking or driving distance from the centre of bowness. We had a garden view room with a small section of the lake and it was very peaceful. Very good value for money and all staff fantastic, would highly recommend.

The hotel was amazing with large, clean rooms and beautiful, large grounds with amazing flowers ponds and trees. The breakfast was amazing. The place has lots of history as Beatrix Potter lived there. There was plenty of parking and it is in a great location, near Windermere.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent two night stay at the Lindeth Howe Hotel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so welcoming and professional. Brilliant Hotel clean and staff very helpful. Comfortable bed and a peaceful hotel. Food excellent but if I had a bone to pick I could have done with vegetables with my steak instead of salad which came as standard but all in all I’d definately go back again it was a memorable stay.

This is our second visit to this hotel. It is well placed for wandering around the area and boat trips. The bedroom was spotless and bed comfy. All staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with plenty of choice
