Breakfast was good, except the omelettes were not very fresh-tasting. We were kicked out of the serving area because we entered the area at 6:00a (which was the posted opening time). The “server” was not very nice and scolded us for entering before they opened the doors!

Very friendly staff and good breakfast. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was we had to dispatch a couple of stink bugs and a spider that were in the room, but I did not feel unclean - I understand what a nuisance stink bugs can be.

I had zero problems with this stay. Highly recommend it. I was glad that the AC/heating system was quiet and consistent so not to bother my sleep, often that is a problem in hotels. The free breakfast was quite good as well. Front desk very nice people.

Everything was great. Only downside for me was the showerhead in the room didn't have a setting that was ideal for thicker hair. I'm not sure if there are low-flow water restrictions in Virginia, but there most volume I could get was on the light spray plus jet massage setting, and it just wasn't very effective. My hair is on the thicker side of average, not super thick, and my shower time was a lot longer than normal. I can't imagine how something with truly thick hair would ever get their scalp clean or hair rinsed.

Nice place to stay

We had a wonderful stay at Hampton Inn Front Royal. They provided a gift for our puppy which was unexpected (although the charge for having her with us was more than most hotels we have stayed in this year). The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was ok - they were running out of items (oatmeal) but worked hard to restock. It was Labor Day weekend, after all. Front Royal is a cool town to visit. We may be back and explore more. We would stay here again.
