First room they gave us wasn't cleaned and when arriving at the door was screamed at by housekeeping in arabic(?) I had no clue what he was saying to us but he made a phone call and pointed back to the lobby, followed us to the elevator and was trying to tell my husband and I to go down and the children stay with the bags (that wasn't happening!) Got to the front desk got a new room which wasn't what I booked/paid for so they brought a rollaway bed in and it had yellow stains all over it, requesting new bedding took over 4 hours; All the bedding and towels had stains. We asked for additional towels since there was 4 of us and our room had 3 towels in it and they said there are no clean towels available in the hotel. Also no remote for the tv. At check out I gave them our key said we were leaving and the guy was rude and yelled at me for bothering him and they just leave the keys in the room. I believe people live at this hotel (the entire 5th floor), always groups of people smoking weed outside the door and going through the trash cans (government assistant housing) someone was actually arrested in the parking lot on the other side of the building while we were leaving for dinner. Thankfully it was just an air conditioned place to sleep while there for the race. Definitely added to our do not stay list though if we ever return.

This B&B was in a historic Octagon house just a mile south of Hammondsport. It's a beautiful location and Hammondsport is a great little town. The breakfasts were amazing and they were able to make everything gluten free. I highly recommend this lovely place.

Property was clean. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful.

I had myself and my grandmother in a handicap room. There was a huge lip to get over the doorstep into the room itself, which is harder to do with a walker. The bed itself was much too high, and I had to pick her up and roll her into bed every night and every time she got up to use the restroom. I would never call this a handicap bathroom with the exception that there are railings near the toilet, but the shower is completely inaccessible because it’s a bathtub not a walk-in shower.
