This place was excellent! We decided to spend an extra night in Boothbay on a whim and stumbled upon Topside. We loved it so much that we'll absolutely be back. Breakfast the next morning was such a treat. It felt luxurious without being pretentious—beautifully done, warm, and incredibly welcoming. It was the perfect way to end our stay, and we can't wait to return.

Nice clean place, but one of the rooms was not how it was pictured. Instead of a queen, it had bunk beds. Water pressure was great upstairs but low downstairs in the bathroom. Also, ice maker didn't work. Great location

Excellent stay, not too far from Bar Harbor and a nice gateway to Acadia NP. Each aparthotel had a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and a pool/gameroom for my kids to enjoy. I’m going to look into booking this for a family reunion in a couple of years. Highly recommend-they have great coffee, too!

This is a standard chain hotel. Every room is the same with cookie cutter ‘modern’ decor and sealed windows with air-conditioning units. Parking was easy but on a very ugly commercial street leading into Bar Harbor. The staff was nice enough but the breakfast is unimaginative, highly caloric, and one has to serve oneself on plastic and Styrofoam. Not a very inspiring way to start one’s vacation but in the area, more charming lodgings are steeply priced.

clean room. staff was nice. good breakfast. good location. would stay here again. No elevator just an FYI for anyone who is not aware.
