We had a medical emergency in Anchorage airport. Our group felt it safer to fly back to pdx rather than proceed on to Kodiak Island. We were traveling with 4 friends so we canceled our 3 rooms in Kodiak. Best Western Kodiak charged us for 2 full nights on our 3 rooms and only refunded 3rd night!!! Better to be hospitalized in a large city and not Kodiak Island! My husband was admitted to ICU in pdx and is doing better.
So sad to miss Kodiak and Dutch Harbor.😞😞😞😞😞😞
