Phu Pai Art Resort

"Good hotel, wrong season"
All the room on the hotel are cabaƱas, and they are far apart from each other. Ours had an amazing balcony which was great to relax and talk while having a drink and looking at nature. The hotel is surrounded by rice puddies, it must be an amazin view during wet season, but We went there on the wrong season, everything was dry and dusty. The hotel highlight is its amazing infinity pool. You do get some amazing pictures from there The pool is large and the water temperature is just right. But it has its drawbacks, it closes early (7pm) and no drinks are allowed on the pool area, if you want a drink you have to go to the restaurant and drink it there (not the custom on thai resorts, where they usually bring you your drinks right to the pool). The location is far from ideal if you plan on going to the bars, restaurants and walking street of downtown Pai. But it is ideal for a relax time,.specially if with a loved one. The have taxi and airport shuttle, but I recommend rentinf a moto. On the cons: our first suite had mold on the bathroom ceiling and curtains, we asked for the problem to be solved, and they immediately moved us to another suite which was way cleaner than the first one. The resort is showing weather signs on the wood balconies and outside shower area. The water had to be drained for a few seconds before using because the first fraction had a foul smell (maybe because we visited on low season). The restaurant and pool closes early. Overall a good experience.

Pai Village Boutique Resort & Farm

"Pretty pretty pretty good"
The Pai Village Boutique Resort & Farm was relaxing and overall a nice hotel. The cabanas are charming and comfortable. The included breakfast was good enough- a variety of local/western food. However, the best part of this hotel is their staff. The staff mostly went out of their way to make sure I was happy, especially a man named "And"- if I can remember correctly. Never had encounters or saw the house keeping which was a plus. The location is right in the center of town which was very convenient, but I had a hard time finding the hotel because the sign is not well marked and there is a restaurant in the front. Also, something to be aware of/not made clear to me when booking was that the farm and hotel are about a 5 min drive away from one another (but there is a complimentary car service).

Reverie Siam Resort

"Such a "Reverie" resort"
We did 2 nights in Pai and glad we picked Reverie Siam as our stay. We didn't expect this is such a beautiful, new resort in the countryside. Everywhere are so nicely decorated, well maintained and didn't waste the environment. Pai itself is already a gem in North Thai and "Reverie Siam" is definitely the gem of the gem. Staff are polite and responsible. Our flight to Chiang Mai was delayed 4 hours! but thanks to Leela who kept communicated with us and we relieved from the anxiety and secured a ride picked us from Chiang Mai airport to the resort in almost midnight (3 hours drive in route 1095 and it turned out a safe and comfortable ride). The jacuzzi in bathroom is a surprise and extremely enjoyable. Breakfast in Silhouette is another highlight, a layback atmosphere under mild and warm sunlight (indeed thanks to the nice climate in Jan). Wifi is reliable. The starry night sky that we almost forget. Pai river is just outside our backyard and a step out of the resort we already encountered cows herding in field and such scenery is unforgettable (not mentioned other attractions in Pai). If you are going to Chiang Mai, you should go further to Pai and if possible pay few night there and you will not regret.

Baan Krating Pai Resort

119 Moo 2, Wiangnuer, Pai - Map
"Hotel facilities are great. Staff not so much."
The hotel facilities are very nice. Everything is very stylized and well thought of. The only problem is the staff. Their English is pretty poor and fitting to the city and back is available only via taxi our hotel transportation. Hotel transportation is only available during certain hours (until 9:30). Other than that there was an issue with the check in. Although we ordered the premium room the staff tried to convince us that we ordered the regular room. After about an hour this was resolved. Breakfast is pretty bad. It was another 170bat per night for the breakfast which consisted of an Omlet, some toast and pretty bad orange juice. The problem is there is nothing else nearby.

"Great new hotel. "
Good hotel in centr of Pai. Nice escape from the backpacker scene. Friendly staff. Room super clean. Pool is nice but it could do with more sun beds. Breakfast is not great. I wouldnt pay extra for it as there's loads of places around that are cheaper and probably nicer!

"Lovely place with wonderful hosts"
Everything was excellent, Art and Noi took great care of us, from picking us up, arranging for a motorbike rental (highly recommended given the location), giving us lots of useful info about Pai and how to get around, and planning a smooth trip back. The room was clean and well accommodated, best value we found in Thailand, and the surrounding gardens were lovely. Would definitely stay there again!

Wat Chan is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Wat Chan, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Wat Chan hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
