Missing important information

Something that Hotels.com need to inform customers is that this place do not offer towels, bedding and room cleaning. You can get this at an additional cost (don’t know the price) and for 1200kr they can clean after your visit else you have to clean the area yourself. Please check the website of this place before booking.

I forgot to write my review earlier when I stayed there in May 2024. It’s a beautiful location, I stayed in a cabin with an uninterrupted view of the sea. I walked everyday into Visby along the footpath on the coast, it was gorgeous. The room was clean and staff super friendly and professional. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone, as the rooms are clean, great staff, and great rates.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very nice and food was excellent. Breakfast was superb. Staff was also pro active with some extremely noisy guests, making sure they would quiet down by 10pm. That was very much appreciated since we had to leave the window open due to hot weather.

Nice rooms but extremely warm inside.

New rooms, well equipped and clean. Our only problem was the heat in the cabin, at 25-27 degrees outside it was unbearably warm inside and very difficult to sleep well at night unless we left our door open all night. The window only opened 10cm. That was the only issue

Gustavsvik was a pretty nice place to stay. The apartment was comfortable for three or four people with a nice kitchenet and living space, but remember to bring your own sheets and towels - not an uncommon thing in Sweden. It was a little further out of town than I would have liked, but renting bicycles more or less solved that problem. I would say this place was good, but not great. A fair value for the money at the post-tourist time of year.

Sehr ruhig und sauber. Leider sind die Einkausmöglichkeiten und Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten zu Fuss ziemlich eingeschränkt. Zum Glück können Velos gemietet werden. So ist man auch ohne Auto schnell im Stadtzentrum !

Fantastiskt läge. Något smått i dubbelrummet men ok. Lite slitet då toalettdörrens gångjärn släppte från dörren. Frukost lagom urval. Bra med cykeluthyrning och trevlig receptionist. Vi rekommenderar boendet då läget med avstånd både till Visby och havets strand väger upp.

God beliggenhed

Dejligt ophold i lejlighed for os som familie. Lejligheden blev brugt som base til at køre rundt på øen og det var nemt at komme til og fra. Vi brugte 1 dag i den gamle del af Visby, og ellers så vi flere dele af øen.

Vi har tre år i rad avslutat vår 3.5 veckors vistelse på Gotland med tre nätter i Gustavsvik. Mysigt ställe precis vid havet, underbara solnedgångar. Rätt små rum, men planerar man bara bra så funkar det fint. Fint cykelavstånd till Visby, bra cykelväg. Stora härliga gräsytor att röra sig på, bra med bord utställda där det går bra att äta sin kvällsmat (som vi oftast köper på Gotlands Matmarknad, som ligger 5 min cykelväg söderut) och njuta av solnedgången. Vi kommer med största sannolikhet tillbaka igen nästa sommar. Det är så skönt att avsluta med hotellfrukost och att inte behöva städa ur någon stuga innan man ska med båten. Dessutom väldigt nära till båten.

Sovrummet på husets framsida var extremt lyhört. Man kunde höra minsta lilla ljud från grannarna, ibland hela nätterna. Dessutom var det problem med fiskmåsar som lät bätterna igenom. För någon som inte sover djupt så väcktes man många gånger under nätterna. De andra som sov i sovrummen på husets baksida hörde ingenting.
