"Our 5th BEYC Stay - Beautiful, Sailing, Boating"
This was one of our best vacations in memory. We sailed our brains out. We motored to deserted beaches, we drank lots of rum and wine, we swam and floated around in the ocean water, enjoyed the beaches and pool, ate great food, enjoyed the 'to die for' scenery, and were very well served by the staff. At 40 years old, BEYC is a mature venue, but we don't go there to sit in the room and admire the furnishings. It's clean, plenty roomy, and totally functional. The well-maintained rooms have seen upgrades or improvements many times, and they are not far off the quality of other rooms that we booked at other BVI resorts on previous trips. Not every room is air conditioned, so make sure you are booking the room that you want. We prefer the A/C during the summer months to lower the humidity in the room, but the constant ocean breezes may be all you need, especially in the winter. BEYC has made some improvements over the years; they now have digital safes in the rooms so we didn't have to use the safe deposit boxes at the registration desk, and they added a seaplane dock that is mostly used in the winter. You get hardwood floors at BEYC, no Italian marble, no crystal chandeliers. Our previous four experiences at BEYC were also excellent, so BEYC has a pretty good track record from our viewpoint.

"Stay on Mango Bay"
My husband and I stayed at Mango Bay 12/7 thru 12/13/15 and it was fantastic. Gino was waiting to greet us and gave us an early check in. He was warm, friendly, and helpful (as was the rest of the staff). Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the best beach on the island! We are already planning a trip back. I highly recommend Mango Bay! Side note: if going to market for groceries, go to Rosey's.

"Beach side paradise with a view to match"
Even before we checked in, Kasha had helped us rent a Jeep and answered tons of questions for us. We stayed at the Island Oasis and it was such a relaxing place to return to each evening. All the staff, including those at the Sugarcane restaurant and front office always greeted us with a smile and were extremely professional. Anything we needed during our stay, they were only a phone call away and resolved issues quickly. The view from our balcony was breathtaking and the pool/jacuzzi was only a short walking distance away. Near the pool were lounge chairs where we relaxed after already relaxing days in the sun and enjoyed a mixed drink from the bar (reasonable prices) as well as our books. The cleaning staff made our room like new each day and that was a welcome relief to come home to each day. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon and we didn't feel like we were staying at a resort, but rather our own private island getaway. There's a gorgeous beach a stone throw's away that offered privacy, seclusion, tide pools, boulders, and kayaks/palm overhangs with beach chairs. Felt like we had our own private beach. The drive back to the villa was awe inspiring and showed off God's handiwork. I will recommend Nail Bay resorts to everybody I come into contact with, and will look forward to staying with them again in the future. 10 out of 10!

"Make sure to get a room with AC"
There was an overall shock when we first checked in because we had just spent the previous 5 nights at the Ritz St. Thomas and there was obviously a striking contrast in quality of the rooms (price difference too obviously...), so we were a little taken aback. It wasn't obvious to us when booking that there were rooms with AC, and open-air rooms without AC. This makes a huge difference when it's 90 degrees outside, mosquitoes are everywhere, and neighbors are making a ton of noise until 2am. On the second night we switched to a room with AC and plastic covering over the screen windows, and we were much more comfortable. The staff (family run) was great, so it was just a combination of a friendly environment in a beautiful setting and feeling like your practically camping. The staff was gracious enough to upgrade our rooms when we asked. The food at the restaurant was very good with good portions, though a little pricey. It certainly felt like a remote location, as Virgin Gorda in general is remote (low population, few paved roads, rare internet, etc.), but the hotel accentuated that. After a few nights we got used to it and came to like it, but there is an adjustment period.

Virgin Gorda is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Virgin Gorda, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Virgin Gorda hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
