The hotel was great and right in the center of town. The only reason I gave 4 stars for facilities is that there was no communication that the spa would be closed. After long travels, looking forward to a sauna or soak and not being able to get that really dampers the day. Just wish the hotel had sent a note is all.

In the family room was used hard materials to furnish the apartment,- floor was very hard, makes lots of noise, doors to the toilet was very very loud, tiles in the toilet very cold, lights were too bright in the toilet and main room was too dark, so lack of balance in all important areas. during the night kids and parents were walking to the toilet, so they were disturbing those who were sleeping. Bed linnen was very comfortable, soft, especially pillows. What is more, we got a little bit sick after the sandwich with shrimps that most of us had in the restaurant of this hotel. Drinks were good though. The hotel is in the center of the city, so in the evening and quite often during the night and morning we could hear motorolers/motorbikes driving accross the streets. Stores and pharmacy is close to the hotel. Hotel clients are allowed to park their cars in the Coop's parking, so that is a great benefit in this area. Overal experience - not good, next time we will definitely choose something else, where rooms would be more quiet.

Vackert hotell att trivas på.

Det är ett fint hotell med en avslappnande atmosfär. God mat och sköna loungemöbler. Vacker inredning i de allmänna utrymmena. Gratis parkering. Vi bokade ett dubbelrum med 2 enkelsängar och fick då ett pyttelitet rum, där det såg ut som om man satt in en extrasäng. Den stod framför fönstret, bland element o gardiner. Mitt på väggen var en stor lampa, antagligen tänkt som en sänglampa. Det fanns också endast ett sängbord. Som vanligt gällande de flesta hotellrum fanns bara en stol för 2 personer. Badrummet var precis så stort att man fick plats. Inredning var torftig, spartansk. Garderoben var max 30 cm djup. Allting var minimalistiskt till en kostnad av ca 1600kr hade vi önskat oss lite mer.

The hotel is very authentic. The room was small but clean; the bathroom really tiny. Our kids loved the bunk bed. The breakfast was in a great ambience and the quality of the food good. Astrid Lindgren World is within walking distance, that allowed us to leave the car in the parking garage (free for guests). Also the square outside the hotel was nice to sit at during the evening, with some activities for kids (free mini golf or table tennis).

Tyvärr en besvikelse – långt ifrån förväntningarna

Jag har arbetat 16 år inom hotellbranschen och har därför höga förväntningar på service och funktion. Rummet: Rummet var trångt och dammigt – damm syntes tydligt på skrivbord, sänglampor och fönsterkarm, vilket gav ett intryck av slarvig städning. Frukost & matsal: Trots förhandsbokad frukosttid var matsalen full och buffén inte påfylld – flera serveringsstationer saknade mat, och det fanns disk kvar överallt. Äggen var dessutom grönaktiga , vilket var både visuellt störande och hälsorelaterat oroande. Reception & kommunikation: Vid incheckning gavs ingen information proaktivt – vi behövde själva fråga om allt från frukosttid till Wi-Fi-uppkoppling samt receptionens öppettider. Det kändes oengagerat och ogenomtänkt. Förslag till förbättring: Jag rekommenderar att hotellet ser över städrutiner och bemanning vid frukost för att undvika överfull matsal och tom buffé, samt att receptionen aktivt informerar gäster vid ankomst. Vi kommer inte besöka hotellet igen och inte heller rekommendera detta hotell
