Note anyone booking at anytime of the year ensure you arrange hotel transfers through the hotel as this hotel is on the Ganges River and access to it is a bit tricky. The meals are vegetarian only but the restaurant staff go out of their way to accommodate with your eating preferences, lovely staff.

"Nice hotel in a relatively peaceful area "
Very nice hotel a few minutes away from the chaos and the highly polluted areas of Varanasi. Excellent and responsive staff, very responsive and courteous. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms adequately stocked with towels and amenities. The travel desk is helpful and courteous however, their pricing for even basic services like cab rides is 30 percent more than what is charged by cabs readily available outside the hotel. The breakfast buffet and room service were excellent. Room service always arrives in under 30 minutes and that was a bit of a surprise bases on what we had read in other reviews.

"A wonderful respite from the intensity of Varanasi"
We were warmly welcomed after a long day of flying and driving. Neeraj the manager was able to help us with any needs we had. He went above and beyond with making us comfortable, ordering food, taxis, morning boat ride and anything else we needed. The food was delicious in the restaurant and clean. The service was was good and my friend and I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful and has a lot of character. the view from the top of the hotel is beautiful and looks out to the ganges, the buffalos walking the ghats, aspirants and sadhus and washing themselves in the ganges and yet most of the time a sweet silence that is hard to find in Varanasi. If you are planning visiting Varanasi then this is the place to stay to deal with the intensity and non stop bustle of this old city. Also, the hotel will set up the early morning Ganges boat ride for a inexpensive charge, and the boat ride to see the night fire ceremony is quite spectacular as well..

"Our experience of being maharajah and maharani "
We adored our 2 days at Nadesar Palace The Mountbatten Suite that we stayed in was so special- little touches like the photo of us taken at reception were put in a frame in the room and a fresh fruit bowl was topped up daily. Added touches such as fresh rose petals were added to our room along with a sweet treat beside the bed each night. The staff were so lovely - always eager to please and make sure our stay was special. We loved the horse drawn carriage ride in the 200 year old carriage - now I can truly say I have sat where royalty has been (King George and Princess Mary had also ridden in the same carriaige) The glass of champagne to celebrate the carriage ride was a special surprise too. We loved our round of golf (5 holes complete with caddy and umbrella - for the heat), the croquet and the lovely swimming pool. The spa facilities were an added bonus too. A huge thankyou to all of the staff for a once in a lifetime treat. Now anywhere we go we will compare the hotel to the Nadesar - The best Hotel we have ever stayed in

Stay was good and comfortable. Food was overpriced but tasted good enough. Although I did not face any problems regarding service but it could be improved a bit.

Restaurant is poor and dry too. But the rest of the hotel is adequate enough. Clientele is Indian middle class. 150 rupee and 20 mins from railway. Varanasi is filthy even by Indian standards.

Varanasi is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Varanasi, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Varanasi hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
