This was a nice place just outside the main city area. The hotel staff were nice. The golf shop guy wasn’t as friendly. We were greeted with a few flies in our room. The outside patio had a bunch of flies waiting to come inside. There was a draft at the bottom of the outside patio door. I think that’s how they were getting in. Everything was fine. It didn’t feel very resort-like. Use white noise at night, because the walls are paper thin. We heard trains, motors, and people in the hallways around the clock.

Room was clean and the staff friendly. All the amenities offered were good. Such a relaxing place to reset and/or rest after a day of hiking. We stood in the Viking lodge and it was quiet and peaceful.

LOVED this place!! Exceeded my expectations! My only feedback is it was unclear how many bathrooms the unit had until I arrived. I was only expecting 1 but there was 2 so a great surprise!

Clean rooms. Helpful staff.
