"Great location"
We normally go all inclusive but I thought I'd try b&b this time and it was a mistake because the food in most of the local restaurants was bland except for the local Italian where the food included a wide range of home cooked vegetables. Needless to say we ate there most nights but next time it will be either all inclusive or a hotel that does full board.

"Nice Family Hotel, But not a 4* "
Nice hotel in a great location, the rooms very clean and modern and lots of facilities on site. Good food selection for breakfast and dinner. However on arrival at the hotel we were faced with a 40 people deep queue at check in. After an hour of waiting patiently to check in we were then told our room was not ready despite it being past the 1400 check in time (not a great start for a 4* hotel) It seemed there was not enough staff at the hotel to deal with the number of guests. The room was lovely with partial sea views, it was cleaned daily by the maids and had everything we needed including a small fridge. The only negative thing i will say about the room is we backed onto a very noisy air vent from the kitchen area which ran all day and night and even with the balcony doors closed we could hear it which wasn't ideal for when we wanted to sleep. Breakfast and dinner was of a good standard, lots of choice. The dining room was always busy and could be quite rowdy at times so don't expect a romantic meal. Also waiting staff were rude and as people left their tables they prepared them with no cutlery for the next guests. Both breakfast and dinner i found dirty plates and cutlery that were supposed to be cleaned, every breakfast I had to literally hunt through the clean glass pile to find a clean glass for my Orange juice (not 4* treatment) and if you want to sit by the pool in the day, don't bother as all the beds are taken up, we found the beach was much more pleasant.

"good location"
hotel clean. dinner food not too bad but breakfast was lacking choice. I felt it was catered more for the Spanish. Fried eggs every day and one day scrambled, no omelettes. Poor choice of cereal Tv in room had only one English channel and that was ctn news (American) last day at hotel I had to check out at 12 and not leaving for pick up until 7pm. No changing room available so had to use public shower in the pool area - not ideal

"Return to Resort 10 Years Later "
I hadn't visited the Torremolinos/Benalmadena area in 10 years, yet was pleasantly surprised when I returned. I have stayed at Melia hotels before, and although this one was not 5 star, it was very modern and had a great location just a stone's throw away from the marina. We only opted for bed and breakfast, but there was a great buffet choice to choose from every morning. And we never struggled to find a sun lounger by the pool. Our tips for future visitors: 1) Meals and drinks in the marina can be a little pricey - for 2 main evening meals, a beer and a coke expect to pay around £35. 2) I wouldn't bother going to Bioparc. It's really small (we walked around it in an hour) and the animals just hide in the shade because it is so hot.

"Excellent hotel close to the beach"
The staff were very polite and helpful. Our room was very clean and clean towels and cleaning of the room was provided every 4 days. Our room had an excellent sea view. The steps leading down to the beach were a little steep and tiring coming back up but they were manageable. The hotel did provide a key for the lift but there were not enough for all guests and we were not able to get one but we did not mind too much. After lying on the beach all day it was good exercise! Overall I would recommend this hotel. The local shops and restaurants were very close and there was always plenty to do in the evenings.

Torremolinos is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Torremolinos, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Torremolinos hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
