Young lady at check in was very pleasant and helpful to plan our stay in Toronto suggesting how to get down to the Mirvish show Unfortunately when we returned to the hotel the power was out and my 88 year old mother and handicapped sister had to walk up to the 4th floor. Of course hotel not in control of these issues, but now waiting for promised discount that was offered for inconvenience The young lady at the desk did offer coffee when we waited for awhile in the lobby to see if power would go back on Was disappointed a Best Wester Plus did not have any towels to give us when we requested them. We DID get pool towels when I suggested this as an alternative breakfast in the morning was very good. Omelettes and sausages, waffle maker, french toast, oatmeal and lots of fresh fruit, yoghurts and juices All was hot and freshly cooked A thank you for the kitchen staff

Was very unconcern that there was no power on Saturday from 6pm to 4 am and there was no offer of compensation for the inconvenience! Small refund would have been great but nothing was offered at all very disappointed

There was construction going on just outside of our room lots of loud noises until late into the evening. Pipes making very loud noises until midnight. Hard to get rest early.

Some pluses, some minuses

The hotel was located in an area convenient for travel to Toronto area attractions. The employees were very friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious, even with the sofa bed pulled out. The sofa bed had seen better days, with the underside showing rusted through springs. My son slept on it since this was a short trip, but was not comfortable. The regular beds were okay, but again seemed springy, and every time my husband moved, it shook the whole bed. The indoor pool was great, the temperature was just cold. I appreciated the later hours it was open!

Great stay

Check-in went smoothly and quickly. 1 night stay in a two queen bed suite. Very clean and spacious. Bathroom was also very clean. Beds were incredibly comfortable. I liked all of the pillows. Made the bed extra cozy. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker were all in working order. Will definitely return again.
