The room was okay. However , it needs a better cleaning. Like the air vent in the washroom needs to be vacuum the build up dirt. There’s stain on the walls. Bathroom vanity need a bit bigger, there’s barely any space for our stuff .

Very disappointed!

Front carpet was filthy. Hall carpet was dirty like the room was swept out into the hall. Room floor & blinds were dirty. A/C was very noisy & the pigeons cooing outside came thru the AC so it was noisy. Terrible neighbourhood. Drunks & homeless were hoovering out the front door.

GO ELSEWHERE

First indication not to stay was parking your car in a fenced parking lot that the gate closes at 10 . Next entrance was soiled , elevator floor was dirty , room was extra small . Outside the hotel we saw 5-6 police cars patrolling because of all the homeless , crackheads & thugs hanging around the outside . We gave up our fees ( no refund) to go elsewhere ,, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED ,

Good Location and secure parking

Good place to stay in Thunder Bay. I was only there for one night but I liked that they have a parking lot located just across the street that is locked at night from 11am to 6am (hotel staff can open if arriving late or leaving early) as well as a few spots directly at the back of the hotel. The room appeared clean and the A/C worked. The door and walls were not the best for keeping noise out but it was not very busy so this was no issue. I left early before the continental breakfast started.

Thunder Bay stay

Not a good neighborhood at all. Hotel appeared not very clean. Burnt popcorn in the maker up front. Staff helped you but not friendly at all. Did not feel like our vehicle was safe, even in the gated area provided. AC unit had excess water in it and the fan was loud. Bathroom was not cleaned well and if someone was in bathroom you couldn’t open the front door.

Place was clean. Staff not very helpful... Let anyone park in the handicap spot closest to the door. Some issues with the renovations and the bathroom mirror fell off the wall! Sketchy area but close enough to nicer parts of waterfront.
