We enjoyed our visit and stay at The Inn at Vanessie and if we are ever in Santa Fe it will be our first choice for accommodations. Staff was excellent, room was very nice and clean. The breakfast offered was very good. We stayed in one of the rooms from the oldest part of the inn and this led to why we gave the Inn 4 stars. Everything is a 5 star at the Inn but the windows in our room need updating badly. No screens, hard to open and close. Two windows were hard to even lock without them falling inwards. The newer sections have metal windows and would hope money is spent on replacing the windows in the old part. There may be limitations if the oldest part is a national landmark or something like that that keeps the owners from updating. This was never mentioned. You will love your stay.

The best thing about this hotel is the pool but you can’t check in until 4 and check out is at 11 am. So I. September a one night stay simply isn’t worth it because mornings are cool and the sun is going down by the time you can actually use the pool. Otherwise this is just a standard hotel room that still has popcorn ceilings
