Room has a moldy smell. Very basic amenities. Only good thing is the location.

DO NOT STAY HERE! 🚨SCAM!!🚨 We needed a last minute hotel near Hollywood and thought this would suffice. We couldn't even make it through the first night without having to scramble to find a backup and they would NOT refund our money. First of all, this whole place is run virtually. You get a code emailed to you to enter and exit the building because no one physically works there. The front desk checkin experience is an Indian man on an iPad that you have upload your passport photo that God only knows who's servers it is getting uploaded and stored too. Immediately when we entered our room which was hot and sticky, we tried to turn on the air conditioner and was hit with a nauseating PEE smell that made us want to vomit. The floors are all cold hard cement, the bed was awful with half sized pillows. We tried to call to get more pillows only to find out house keeping wasn't going to be there until the morning. There was literally a metal grate in front of our window that we couldn't see anything out of. The TV was broken. The whole thing was uninhabitable. When we tried to talk to them about getting a refund we were told there was no manager on sight and there wouldn't be until Monday!! So we ended up scrambling at 10pm to try and find someplace new and got the HELL out of there. Hotels.com offered us $75 for the "inconvenience" but said it was ultimately the hotels' choice whether or not to refund us (for the three nights that we DID NOT SLEEP AT ANY OF THEM!).

The property was very clean, relaxing, and peaceful for the most part. The staff was kind and friendly, and we loved the amenities available, especially the fact that the pool and spa were open 24 hours a day. The only downside was that, on our last night, a group was hosting an event in the restaurant and pool area. This made an otherwise peaceful environment crowded with people, many of whom were not guests at the property. Some attendees also approached guests who were simply trying to enjoy their evening, whether playing pool or relaxing by the pool, to ask questions about the property. I wish this had been disclosed before booking, as a major event taking place in the property’s main common area can significantly affect the guest experience. Providing advance notice would allow guests to make a more informed decision about their stay.

The stay was very affordable, but definitely at a cost. The room had a fridge, a walk in shower, TV and an AC which was nice. However, the room had very poor circulation, rust in the shower, stains, mattress was uncomfortable on our backs, and both sets of window screens were not the correct size so bugs were allowed in, and we dealt with multiple mosquito bites each night and spiders in the room, which was very unpleasant. Keep the windows closed. Biggest reason to stay is affordability in Los Angeles for a place to sleep. You get what you pay for.
