Needs some renovation and tlc

Very dated. Hasn't been used recently. Smelled like mildew. The deck was deteriorated to the point of being unusable. There was a hottub but wasn't filled and clearly not used for a long time. The wood trim around the tub platform were rotted and missing. Turns out this was a timeshare rental.

No phones in rooms. Remote did not work. Owner reeks of cheap perfume. Door had large gap at bottom, could hear everything outside room. Staff had long social talk in lobby at 8pm that was so loud I thought the room across the hall had left their door open.

Absolutely horrible!

The manager was extremely rude and insulting. I couldn't stay more than a night with him there and left quickly the next morning. There's lots of reviews complaining about the staff. I wish I had listened to them. Also, all the soap dispensers were empty, and he gave my husband a hard time about bringing soap to our room. Do not stay here.

We had a great time at Good Ol' Days resort! Kids wanted to stay longer and come back! The location was superb, with short walk or bike ride to town and right on the Paul Bunyan trail. The water was also so clear on Lower Cullen. Beautiful place and stay!
