We enjoyed our stay here!! We loved all the renovations and the very comfortable bed. It was cozy and just what we needed to get away in the UP for a couple nights. We will be back!

Nice small motel and rooms. Essentially just sleeping there with everything to do outside in summer. Helpful staff and outside the busy area of town. Close to casino if that's an interest. Would stay again if in the area.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are absolutely spotless and the beds are really comfortable. If you like a family owned establishment instead of a large corporate chain this is the place for you. You will fall in love with the warm friendly atmosphere. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

The room and bathroom was spotless, smelled fresh and had everything you needed. We so appreciated that it wasn’t musty and didn’t smell like smoke. Bed was so comfy. The sweetest host, Hannah was helpful, personable and kind. S’mores around the fire each night was such a fun touch, we had great conversations with the other guests. We would definitely stay here again!

Great value. The room was clean and comfortable. It's a small motel that has been completely renovated. The decor is cute for the north woods. Have stayed there twice and would definitely stay again.

An older motel but it has been updated and is extremely well kept. Everything was clean. Parking is right in front of your door. Actually had a pair of recliners in the room! And there were free s'more at the fire ring on the lawn too!

We stayed here on May 31, 2026.The place had just been remodeled. Everything seemed to be brand new. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. Check-in was simple. We were very pleased with everything.

The room was clean and looks as though it had recently been remodeled. The parking lot is more suited for small to midsized vehicles, The host was (is) very nice and personable. Overall, the stay there was pleasant and uneventful just how I like it.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful property! I don’t usually stay at a “motel” but made an exception and I am so glad we did! A young couple bought this property and are renovating it beautifully! Many thoughtful touches have been added including a fire pit with all the s’mores fixings! We had a great time hanging out there last night. Please give this place a chance and support this small business owner! Thanks again, Hannah and Alex!!

This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! I recommend this super nice motel to everyone!!! 🌟🌟🌟
