Parking was fine. To check in I had to call a phone number, tell an automated system my name and what I wanted then wait to see if my call was accepted, talk to the person who said they would be right there. Had to wait another 9 minutes for them to show up. Got to the room and the tv only had sound, no picture. Had to walk back to the desk to tell them and a man came and tried to fix it but had to swap it out for another tv. There is also no ice but after telling the man he brought us some in a plastic grocery bag. He was very pleasant as well as the lady that finally checked me in. They also don't have breakfast although their website shows they do. The vinyl floor had numerous mice droppings on it and clearly had not been swept so we had to put our shoes on when getting out of bed. Only good thing was nice staff and great towels.

I had a short stay overnight at this property. Clean hotel with a beautiful view! Breakfast was included and it was very nice, lots of options i felt. The view restraunt is attached, we had gotten drinks and an appetizer (loaded potato chips) it was perfect! Service could have been better at the restaurant. I'm not sure if the staff are still training but they could improve there customer service. I would definitely stay the night here again!

Room was very clean, modern, and well appointed. Check-in was a breeze and staff were very polite. Had an issue with our tv remote and help arrived in less than 5 minutes. The complimentary breakfast included sausage, home fries, eggs, waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, juice and more - very impressive and a great way to start our day. Used the pool prior to leaving and it was clean and 83 degrees with towels provided. Highly recommend.

This wonderful old 1850s hotel is in need of continued repair. The owners are doing a great job to revitalize the grand place but have a long way to go. One step at a time they are trying. Also opened a dance club which was too late for us to partake but was not heard in the room. Old classic rundown hotel which was clean enough, a nice bed and classic claw foot shower bath. Worth the price and location great being on the waterfront in downtown Lock Haven.

The air conditioner was right next to the couch where the only tv was so I couldn’t comfortably sleep (no tv or ac in the room with the bed) or watch tv. There was no toilet paper anywhere but some open ones in a room. The bathroom was very dirty and there was no extra security to make sure no one could go into the room.

We came in late, after midnight, and check in was no problem. All i wanted was a crisp, clean bed. I got that! And I check closely. John was at the front desk and he was very accommodating. He made it very easy and anxiety-free. Everything i needed was in the room. The free breakfast was fabulous. We woke up hungry and they were ready for us. Eggs, bagels, toast, turkey and regular sausage, cereal, fresh fruit, juices, toast, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, pancakes, oatmeal, coffee, tea, milk and almond milk. Whatever you wanted, however much you could eat. The pool was not open yet but it was visible from the dining area. It was indoors but had many windows that natural light was pouring in through. If i was able to stay longer, I would’ve been in that pool. There was extra food you could purchase if the breakfast was over. Drink machines and ice machines visible. And honestly, it’s a very quiet and peaceful property. I saw a donation plaque in their yard and found a very thoughtful tribute to one of their past employees who passed away. I left my vape at breakfast on accident, called and spoke to Margy, who was so delightful and helpful in getting it back to me in Boston. Not only what I stay here again, but if I ever pass through the area, I will intentionally look for it.
