Room for improvement

The price was better than other options and the breakfast was decent. We stayed three nights and they never cleaned our room, even though we asked them to, and they said our room was going to be cleaned. The lobby was freezing but our room was hot. The staff are nice and the pool was nice.

Shouldn't be listed as itvis Its really not a kids friendly environment I booked 2 weeks in advance and they still put elsewhere from my original room and put me right near the elevator and the noise was all night So me and my wife and 2 kids got no sleep and we checked out a day earlier because of the uncomfortable conditions

The ironing board was broken aswell as the sliding balcony sliding door. Smelt like weed in the hallways. The shower doors were very load when opening. Hard connecting the xbox to tv and couldn't. Shower wasnt cleaned properly there was a fruit sticker on the floor. Bathrrom door wouldnt clise properly. Over head bed lights, the dimmer didnt work. The mini fridge still had food in it. Theres people from a halfway house staying in the hotel, so that made my wife very uncomfortable.

Bedbugs

The pool was good. Around 9pm my kids and wife kept saying they were getting bit. I laughed it off and said they were crazy. My wife said it must be a mosquito because i had the balcony door open earlier. Around 2am i went to the bathroom and when i came back i found 2 Bedbugs on my blanket. I FREAKED out and woke everyone up. I have attached a picture of 1 of them. We looked to the back of the bed near the pillows and saw like 10. My wife grabbed a couple and put them in a baggy. We packed up and went to the front desk and woke up the guy. We were sooooooo upset and gave this guy probably a little more heat than expected. We threw the baggy at him and told him to look at them. He was probably scared and we turned around and left. We then had to drive 3.5 hours back to Maine. Ugh Hotels.com was very understanding and gave a full refund. Please DO NOT stay at this hotel.

Meh

The claim about soundproofing was a total lie--you could hear everything from the surrounding rooms and outside. Very loud. Sticky floors and surfaces in the room weren't well cleaned. The elevators were terrifying--I was never sure if they were going to actually work or if I'd get stuck in one. Breakfast had decent options, but made me really sick later. That said, the bed was fine and the shower worked well, so basics covered. The attached Japanese restaurant was fantastic.

The facility is run diwn. The fridge K ept "Turning on" and was a high pitched liud sound that woke us up which was extremely annoying. Plus the freezer section door is missing making it not useable. The rug was damp everywhere under our feet and there are areas of shoddy wear that in the bathroom and general hotel areas. Most hotels have you use the room key to access the pool, not have to traipse down office to get someone to let you in. Elevatirs should be close to main area/lobby, not buried inside down several hallways. The price per night was good- guess you get what you pay for.
