On a road trip, this was a last minute decision based on what felt like some inflated prices for the whole city. The front desk clerk was incredibly friendly. Absolutely 5 stars to her. The room was poorly maintained, dead insects lined up behind the door and also in the bathroom. The room has been ‘updated’ but it was clearly a rushed job. Normally I wouldn’t leave a review like this, but I do feel anyone else should know before choosing this location. Spend the extra 50-80 bucks and go next door.

Little things that add up

I requested a first floor room, they gave me the third floor. I did pre-checkin on line and still had to do the normal check in when I arrived. The pool was closed and the pool was the reason I picked the hotel. The coffee pot was missing the filter. The hotel didn't have another and didn't assist me in any way ( like get one from another room) not the biggest deal but I was checking out before breakfast was served.

Got What Was Expected for the Price

Got the room at the last minute on a discount. Facility is undergoing some renovation. It shows its age, and the location is not in the best part of town. Everything out in the open was clean. Floors between the bed and wall, around headboards, and around and under furniture were not. There was an ant in the bathtub but no bugs otherwise. It's a motel and not a hotel, meaning the doors open to the outside, and you could see light through the door frame because the door didn't quite fit. Because of that, if you pushed on the door, it would move when closed. You want to make sure to use both locks. All that said, the bed was comfortable, and I didn't have any issues with neighbors or noise. I slept well, and at the price I got the room, that's all you can really ask for.
