I'm not sure why this hotel has high reviews. It’s a literal trap hotel. Outside entry, the locks on the door were so loose, the chair was missing two wheels, everything was old and dirty. Absolutely would not recommend for women traveling

I stayed here 4 nights and had to go to the front office each day because my keycard would quit working. This became a hassle. There were 2-3 people at the front desk during the day, but only one in the evening, so I had to wait almost 30 minutes to check in. The door to the room wouldn't close and lock unless you slammed it. It was unpleasant to walk through the plume of smoke from people smoking out front of the room next door. The bed mattress had a huge dip in the middle and needs to be replaced. The rooms themselves were very large.

Don't be Fooled Not a 3 Star Hotel 2 Star at Best!

To be fair the stay wasn't an absolute disaster. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The first night I was having trouble getting into their WiFi and every time I called in to the front desk I heard nothing but silence. After a couple of tries I get connected and the clerk tells me that I won't get any faster service by repeatedly calling. The next day I tell the front office and in less than 10minutes I have two new cords to the phone as they were about to come out of the phone, problem solved. I found the room dark and the lights not enough to adequately light up the room. I am handicapped and had a roll-in shower. The problem is the shower curtain didn't keep in the water and after the nonslip part of the shower ended the tile slanted away from the drain. I didn't notice that water went out into the bathroom and almost went down! I then used extra towels to soak up the excess water. The worst part came in the last two days where I had no housekeeping and had to go get towels, garbage bags, and bathroom tissue even after the night clerk put a note on the housekeeping clipboard! The room wasn't close to the front desk and having feet that hurt later in the day the trips were a real task for me. The lack of housekeeping happened on the weekend when the manager wasn't working. On checkout on Monday morning I asked to talk to her but the front desk clerk said he was the manager and a couple of times went into her office to confer with here. Outrageous!!!

Staff is always welcoming and kind. Needs a little updating but it’s in a good location, pool is nice, and breakfast is good.
