I was not expecting this place to be this nice the pictures don’t do it justice. I had a great stay felt like I was home away from home. The staff was polite and helpful. The room was clean.

I’m sorry to say that our experience was very disappointing. The rooms were not clean, and we actually asked to be moved from our first room because of large stains on the carpet. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. The next day, we saw that they were cleaning the carpets in our original room. We couldn’t help but wonder why it took a guest complaint for this to happen. The stains were large and obvious and should have been addressed before the room was ever given to a guest. The carpet was in such poor condition that we didn’t even feel comfortable walking around the room without socks. Both rooms were in need of significant updating, especially considering the price point. We understand that the property is being sold and will reportedly be updated by the new ownership, which may explain its current condition. Unfortunately, that doesn’t change the experience for guests paying premium rates today. At one time, PlumpJack was the place to stay, which made this visit all the more disappointing. We left wishing we had chosen to stay elsewhere.

Rustic with updated touches. Very clean and quiet. We had a view of the forest behind and birch trees starting to color in front. The kitchen was spotless and appliances fine. The complimentary ground coffee was really good. There are some food options, and others close by. We were going to Grover hot springs for a dip, and came to stay here for the first time. We’ll be back.

The gentleman at the front desk was nice and welcoming, and there were complimentary snacks available, although the selection wasn’t particularly appealing. The advertised “continental breakfast” was also extremely limited, essentially offee and cereal. My biggest concern was security and guest privacy. At check-in, we were asked to write our personal information on a piece of paper attached to a clipboard. The same sheet contained the full names, email addresses, phone numbers, and room numbers of other current guests. This information was visible to anyone being asked to fill out the form. Having guests’ contact information visible to all the other guests seems like a serious privacy and safety concern. I was also uncomfortable with the room security itself. Our door was secured with a keypad using a four-digit code that did not appear to be changed between guests. When showing us to our room, the front desk attendant entered the code while saying it out loud, despite other guests being nearby. Most concerning, once inside the room there was no secondary interior lock! No deadbolt, security latch, or even a chain. This meant there was no way for us to secure the door from the inside beyond relying entirely on the keypad code. The combination of guests’ personal information being openly accessible, the handling of the door code, and the lack of an interior security lock made me feel genuinely uncomfortable staying here. I strongly hope management addresses these issues!

Loved how close the resort is to Heavenly Village. Parking is to expensive when you add on the $57 daily resort fee...that is quite a large amount of money considering what you pay to begin with. We did not like the rasberry syrup poured over the keylime pie. We payed $25 for keylime pie and all we tasted was syrup. We couldn't even eat it. The service was slow in the outside restaurant facing the road. But the bed was very comfortable. Room very clean.
