Great find, lovely little hotel

Loved this little hotel, great location. Comfortable bed, well appointed room and good shower. We didn't eat there, but the breakfast smelled great. The staff were super friendly, and the cleaning was spot on. Nice to have a fridge in the room too. Nothing the hotel can do about this but there is a lot of construction going on across the whole town of Sliema, and unfortunately there was a pile driver right outside our balcony which operated from early until late most days. It wouldn't put us off staying here again, but as an observation for the whole area, if you want a quiet hotel, or you like a lie in, Sliema is probably not for you.

Great hotel and super location close to the tourboats and buses and the ferry to Valetta. Easy cross to the other side of Sliema for great restaurants towards Exiles bay and Spinola bay.

Perfectly located. Many restaurants, cafes and pubs in the area from 2 minutes walking distance. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Large and newly renovated rooms. Cleanliness in the shower could be improved a little bit with the mold in the corners but overall quite clean. Maybe some shampoo or hand lotion would be a nice touch. 😊 And a bottle of water.

Great Hotel

I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel has a modern aesthetic and felt like it might have recently been done-up. The bed was comfy and the shower excellent. I liked the way my room was very spacious and had a very convenient thing for hanging my jacket on and dumping my stuff on as soon as I entered from trekking around the island all day! The location was great for catching the bus and ferry. I wouldn’t recommend drinking the tap water in Malta but I still used said water to fill up the kettle in the room and I’m okay so far - the tea making facilities were appreciated btw! Breakfast was great and the staff all professional.

Nice small hotel a couple of minutes walk from Sliema seafront and all the restaurants and bars. Quiet, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The only minus in my experience was that I could not get the aircon to cool the room - in fairness I did not ask the staff for help, but slept with the balcony door open (in March this kept the room cool).

Mr. Todd makes a great home base for exploring Malta. 5 minute walk to ferries, major bus routes and tons of restaurants. Never had to wait more than 3 minutes for a Bolt pickup. Neighborhood felt safe in evening after dark for walk home. Front desk stored our luggage for free in room behind reception.
