Great lobby but the room was somewhat dull. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception and at the restaurant. Good breakfast. Good location on the edge of the old town and a nice park across the street. But the taxi was not able to drop me off or pick me up in front of the hotel due to some restrictions. Be prepared to walk a couple of minutes to the pickup spot.

We were a family of 3 and stayed in the bigger apartment. It was a wonderful, everything was brand new and clean, the pull out couch was made up for the night for my son, and we especially enjoyed the quiet, but yet very centrally located area in Riga. There are a few very good restaurants just around the corners from the aparthotel, better than the famed Milda Restaurant ( don’t waste your time going there). Overall, I would highly recommend booking a stay at the Carillon.

All great, except the bed was so wide we had to clamber on from the end, no room to enter from the side. Good location, close to the Old Town, though still reasonably quiet. Rooms clean, staff very helpful.

The hotel is situated in the old town and convenient to all parts of Riga. Te rooms are very clean and well-appointed. Everything works well. There was an issue with our room when we arrived, but the front desk personnel, including the manager on site at the time, worked to switch our room and we were extremely satisfied.
