A Complete Disaster from Check-In to Check-Out ​My recent stay at this property was incredibly frustrating, defined by terrible infrastructure, a complete lack of sleep, and unhelpful service. I strongly advise looking elsewhere if you value basic comfort. Here is exactly what went wrong during my stay: ​Incompetent Check-In: I was promised a seamless contactless check-in with an access code. Instead, unhelpful staff blamed my Expedia booking, demanded a physical credit card, and forced me to wait 30 minutes while their system crashed and restarted twice before finally giving me access to my room. ​Pain-Inducing Mattress: The bed was severely overused and completely broken down. Both sides of the mattress sagged so deeply that we physically sank into it, resulting in terrible back pain for both of us by the morning. ​Zero Soundproofing: The building is old and lacks any noise mitigation. The guest in the room above us walked around all night, and every heavy footstep echoed loudly into our room. Between the noise and the bed, sleep was impossible. ​Absurdly Low Shower Head: The shower head was mounted a mere five feet off the ground. It was completely useless for an adult, making it physically impossible to stand underneath it and take a proper shower. ​Unusable Parking: The parking lot layout is a serious issue. The spaces are strangely and impractically narrow—to the point where a single standard vehicle barely fits across two adjacent spots. ​Between the agonizing mattress

My best hotel stay ever. Every detail was thought of and executed!

A little slice of heaven in such a magical place. We even saw Humpback whales from our balcony.

The staff at the front desk were very nice & the location was nice. When I checked in I was informed that they did not provide daily cleaning service & if I needed clean towels I would need to request them at the front desk. Being near a beach we had sand in the room & it would have been nice to at least have the room vacuumed each day. The railing on the balcony was rotted. On their website they showed a full dining area and a breakfast buffet for an additional $25. I don’t know where this was located. Was it at the hotel across the street, which looked much nicer.

This hotel is definitely older but I found it so charming! Truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is short walking distance to all shops and restaurants ( within 10 minutes), walking to beach 15 minutes, room has coffee maker, couple of wine glasses in case you want to enjoy wine that you purchase, a mini fridge. Staff was so kind, grounds were clean, I didn’t go to the continental breakfast offered but it looked good. I loved my stay, will return in the future, highly recommend

Perfect location right on Monterey Bay between Lovers Point and Cannery Row. GREAT way to start each day by our favorite breakfast chef Carmen - truly extraordinary with everything made from scratch. Wine and cheese happy hour each afternoon at 4:00 is a great way to meet some of the other guests. The house was built in 1888 and there was an extensive remodel 3 years ago to spruce things up a bit without losing any of its Victorian charm. We will be back - thank you!! Jack & Amy - Ft.
