You literally can't get any closer to the water, or you'd be in it. Lovely staff, spectacular views, and an added bonus for the hot tub and pool. It's an older building, (I think '73), so it has that old smell, but I'm a sucker for vintage, and they've done a nice job of preserving the property. I will absolutely be staying here again.

This was quaint with a magnificent location, we loved the beach, it was never too busy. The restaurant had good food. The pool was warm and the hot tub hot. Really was a beautiful place

We had a very late check in (I had called to let them know), and they had our keys ready and waiting so we could go right to our room. The room was clean but could use some updates. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was included with the stay; that was a big plus. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We would stay again.

Clean property with very friendly staff, great breakfast restaurant conveniently located inside with a great view of the lake. It is an older property, the first floor rooms were very damp and smelled like damp carpet. The bathroom on our room had a slow draining tub. All that said overall it’s a affordable hotel next to the lake. I would request a second floor room facing the lake if I where to come back.

The actual premises is very dated compared to pictures online. It needs a lot of handy work done, inside and out. It wasn’t very clean, dusty fixtures, mirrors and some of the furniture. One of the men that picked up the tray was rude and ignored me. It was way too expensive for what we experienced.

We have made it a yearly tradition to stay at this property. While it may be a bit run down, it's still quite clean, quiet (if you don't get loud people above you), the staff is always friendly and helpful and you can't beat the location next to the lake. Waves put you to sleep at night when you leave the window open! It's a perfect little getaway!

This hotel was a lovely place to stay on our trip to Michigan. Located right in the beach! It was clean, the pool was nice, and the breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful but could use a little work.

The views were spectacular. The toilet was low to the floor making it hard for an older person to get on and off. Also the beds were not very comfortable. Building seems a little run down. Could use a bit of a face-lift overall.
