Hotel was not clean in every area. The lady who checked us in stated she was a manager. She was very rude and scolded us for booking a room through Expedia instead of booking directly.

Comfort Inn Ottawa Starved Rock Area
The breakfast menu was much better on the weekend compared to week days. Biscuits and sausage gravy were pretty good. Overall if you stay on the weekend you wint be disappointed.

Staff was friendly. Check in was a breeze. Room was a bit well worn, but clean and cozy. Only issue we had was some of the lamp outlets in the room didn't work very well, if at all. Breakfast was minimal which was fine, but if you're looking for a huge spread, you won't get it here.
