Cute Victorian buildings and decor. Friendly proprietors. Walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Note to solo travelers: the “Screenwriters Retreat” is like sleeping in a closet. Opt for one of the larger rooms if you can afford it!

They never gave me check-in instructions, so I wasn’t able to get in to the property. No one responded to any of my phone calls or text messages over the course of four hours, so I had to book a hotel elsewhere.

I am OBSESSED with this stay. I cannot stay enough good things about the Isetta Inn and the Polaroid Room I stayed in. It’s SO precious. Everything about it is just perfectly crafted with a unique touch for a special welcome. I did not expect the tape player equipped with tapes from my childhood LOL. I can’t wait to plan another trip to Savannah so I can stay there longer, honestly. The texting with the staff and being able to come and go as I pleased was a bonus for me as someone who gets a little socially anxious and has a weird schedule. I was a little apprehensive about sharing a bathroom with other guests, but honestly, the set up of the building and maybe the time of year? I didn’t really see anyone else, and even if I had, I don’t think it would have been that weird. I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could.

First time staying but definitely not our last. I surprised my wife with a stay in Savannah for our Anniversary weekend. Not only was this place well appointed, clean, well ran, easy, comfortable, and unique, it was very memorable and a safe jumping off place to all our adventures. We were able to pack in 8 days of memories into 3 days. Can't recommend it highly enough.

It was so hot in the room. They said you have to text a number to ask for temp fix, and we did twice and it was still so very hot. Also, I paid for a room with a non-shared bathroom, and we still had to share the bathroom.

The Inn is in a very popular area of Savannah. It's close to Forsyth park. But the Inn is right on a very busy street and the traffic was very noisy in my room.

make sure you understand most of these rooms are just rooms... and have shared bathrooms. And there is only street parking. We happen to be there on a night it was not very full, in the swinging bed room, so it was fine for a night.

It’s a beautiful place. Super quiet and comfortable. It has everything you need and it’s close to practically everything. You have stop buses near by so it’s quite easy to move through Savannah. It’s also walkable! Definitely coming back!
