The people at Acadia were simply the best. Kind, courteous and helpful are the top 3 words that come to mind, but there are many others that could be used to describe the excellent service. The inn is situated at the head of a small bay and the beach and rocks are a pleasure to walk or just sit and enjoy he view. We highly recommend the his quiet, quaint and quality place to visit.

The location of this home is very misleading. Although if you search the exact location, you will find it’s in/near the forest but looking at the pics posted you would think it was near the beach and it is not. I could overlook that if the home was stocked with everything needed and beds were comfortable but that was not the case. We were given 5 bath towels for 4 people for 4days, 1 dish cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 dirty sponge with no washer or dryer and no dishwasher. Extra towels were dropped off once we called the owner but we didn’t ask for toilet paper and ran out of that as well. It just seemed like the bare minimum was done to make us comfortable. If you stay here just know you need to bring your own supplies unless you want to spend your vacation on the phone with the owners.

Not enough water for one shower. Breakfast was the worse free breakfast I've ever had. Bagel was stale and had to ask for cream cheese. They put out a block on the table and had everyone taking from it. Gross. No OJ, just apple juice. Also lights in bathroom did not work, then realized that there were no bulbs in it.
