Such a charming hotel. Love the lobby and room decor. Such a beautiful lobby and cozy bar. So close to everything..crepes, museums, the square, oven fired pizza...great shopping for the ladies and good shops for men. We visited in August..would love to see it at Christmas. Sante fe is so great in so many ways...wish i lived closer

This property was rated really high, which it why I booked it. The property looked like a cheap motel. The lobby smelled bad and was not as shown in the pictures. The room they wanted to give me was nothing like the pictures either. It was supposed to be a king suite with a couch and chair. This looked to be a queen bed and another twin bed, no place to sit. The hotel staff are very kind. The hotel is nice and walkable to downtown spots. Our complaint is we were on a ground level room called Zuni and a family was staying above us. Every footstep of theirs resonated loudly in our room. They moved around from 9 pm to 5 am. We did not sleep well due to noise.

Pros - Bkfst was very good. Great location between the Railyard and the Plaza. Everything within walking distance. The decor of the room was southwestern, very nice. Alvin was the very kind desk attendant. Cons - The first room we went to had a very loud a/c unit and the layout didn't look like what we saw online. We were moved to a different room which was better but we were up all night due to the a/c unit noise. We ended up driving home before we stayed a 2nd night. Heads up there is a daily $30 parking/bkfst buffet fee. They advertised a restaurant/entertainment but we only saw tables in the bkfst area.

Could have been better

The room was ok, cold floors no carpet, bathroom extremely small with no shelf place for toiletries and makeup essentials. The resturant was closed for renovation, they did offer breakfast but we did not eat. Parking is for guest only 26 spaces for 21 rooms. All in all it wasnt a great place to stay but it provided shelter, a place close to downtown Santa Fe and the price was right.
