Terrible. Bait and switch. Filthy property , spray paint on the walls. No tile in the bathroom shower at all. Holes in wall , I had a vip gold access room that was supposed to have a balcony and I received a basement room with a small bed and a window that opens to exposed wiring and plumbing - in a concrete pit. The worst place I’ve ever stayed. The staff was awful, condescending, and I’d never ever stay here again. I’ve traveled to over 20 different countries and never experienced anything like this. The actual name of this hotel is 901 properties and they own about 15 different hotels under that name, all in a city block.

Room was very small, there was no coffee available, no lobby, no outdoor area, no shelf in bathroom. Area right around wasn’t great. The room was ready 4 hours early, however.

Very convenient location, with free parking, easy 15-20min walk to old San Juan, or few minutes drive (not worth figuring out the parking, uber works perfect)

Do not expect to find any signs with the hotel name anywhere visible anyway. The location hosts many different properties and Ubana hotel was one of them, just look for "checkin" sign. Room was very clean, bed comfortable, very small though just perfect for one night as was our case, Place is in old san juan so all is close by. Took public transport to get to cruiseship at one block from hotel free, just 10 minutes

Hotel room is very small. Parking is around the block and reception is is another building the laundry machines were broken reception staff was nice but supervisor was rude and suggested o don’t stay at their location anymore

The location was good as it was walkable to various restaurants and the staff was pleasant. The pictures on the website looked much nicer than the room we had. It was in another building around the corner from the office which was fine, but there was only one frosted window which faced a wall so no daylight. The A/C unit blew air right at the location of the bed. The one chair was rather rickety. The bathroom while clean had no place to put anything and the tile and paint needed refreshing to actually look nice.

Basic, convenient location

I presume this is a relatively good location at a good price for San Juan. Friendly and helpful front desk. This is a bare-bones place - small bed pushed against the wall, no in-room amenities, and if there was a hot water shower, we couldn’t figure out how to get it more than lukewarm. The building itself is dated and dingy (including a hole in the wall in our room), nothing special about furnishings or linens.

The staff was excellent, very attentive and helpful. The room was clean and stocked with toiletries. They have WiFi and smart tvs. The room itself is very small. They say there are only stairs in the description….believe them! Don’t take a lot of luggage. Speaking of luggage, they will hold your luggage over check out so you can do stuff without lugging your suitcase with you. It was conveniently located between the airport and cruise port.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was warm and welcoming, communication about our stay was also clear and easy. There are numerous food offerings, a great cafe and taco spot, both adjacent to the hotel. There are a lot of stairs and the night life can be exciting, if you’re not into that, maybe find a more mainstream hotel. If you like a local vibe, this place is legit!! 10/10
