"Nice hotel, good location"
I liked the hotel's location. Which is not far from tourist spots. The hotel room was cleaned everyday. The service at their restaurant was excellent especially by one of their female worker servers.

"Nice Location with Several Private Beaches....."
Huatulco has been beautifully master-planned and learned from the mistakes made at Cancun with sound ecological planning. Much of the surrounding rain forest is intact......This resort hotel itself features several private beaches, has delicious food in its restaurants.....the interiors of the sleeping areas in the rooms are nice.

"Wonderful hotel right on the beach"
Loved it, private and very quiet beach. Very pretty hotel, not just a big box. There were a few hiccups (late night party and speakers were right outside our room, a/c not working one day) but hotel staff addressed everything immediately (moved us to another room for a night). Very conscious, kind, and quick staff. Ask about the restaurants when you check in (kind of confusing because not all open all the time). Had great food at all of them. Very close walk to Don Profirio (in front of Dreams) which was also great food. Plunge pool room was great! Had a great stay, can't wait to go back!

"Barcelo"
For the most part we really liked the hotel. The food was hit and miss. Some days it was really good others not good at all. We actually ended up eating in town quite a bit as the food in town was much better. We were very disappointed that children (anywhere from in diapers to teenagers) were allowed in the adults only pool. There is a very large children's pool and no reason they should be in the adult pool. The drinks were not very strong. Another issue we had was that we requested a King bed and when we arrived we were told that there would not be any king beds available until Wednesday, which I find very hard to believe as the hotel was only about half full on Sunday. The only way we were able to get a king bed was by upgrading to their premium package (approximately $70 a night extra for both of us). I feel like this was just a big gimmick to charge us more money. We spoke to many other guests that experienced the same issue. The $500 hotel credit was also a gimmick as it was no more than getting a percentage off of other services that the resort offered. Lucrecia, the person that cleaned our room, was great. We had cute towel art everyday and she left us personalized notes telling us to have a good day or wishing us a safe journey home.

"Great hotel on the ocean. "
We had a room with a view. Very enjoyable to look out each morning and see the ocean. The room was clean & comfortable - however the bed headboard could use an upgrading! The restaurants were good and staff very friendly - English was not a problem. Enjoyed the sailing and kayaking. Would return again

"Nice hotel with pool for short stays"
We stayed for a one night stopover and this one-year old hotel fit the bill. Great value, very friendly and service-oriented staff, nice breakfast and a pool area for cooling down. Everything functioned well. As it is on a major artery between Crucecita and the beaches, it is very convenient for shopping or getting anywhere in the area by car. The hotel is a. Unusual design with the parking lot in between the rooms and the pool. Not the most attractive room views.

Salchi is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Salchi, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Salchi hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
