Our overnight stay was fine. Our only issue was the smoke detector light flashed all night every 5 seconds. No one was at the desk in the morning when we checked out, so we didn't report it. We have stayed here many times. The room is large and the staff friendly.

Very bad for high price charged. Do not recommend.

No hot water, low preassure shower, No tv remote control, no cable connection to watch tv, phone line disconected, wi-fi did not work on 2nd and 3rd floor. Only hot food is egg, gravy,biscuit, waffle no meats.

Carpets in two rooms were wet. There was snot wiped on the bathroom wall and not cleaned off. There was no wifi in the whole hotel for our stay. Cops had to arrive to break someone out of their room on the first floor. Overall, it was terrible experience.

Never Comfort Inn

Booked online, the room looked great in pictures... This turned out to not be the case. The elevator barely functioned, and the doors would not close for up to a minute. The halfway smelled musty, and the walls had noticeable paint damage. When we got into the room, it smelled like mold. I pulled out the mattress in the couch and it had brown stains on it. Then I began to notice the mold spots all over the cushions. Then we noticed that the ceiling had mismatched paint that very clearly looked like someone had simply painted over mold on the ceiling. So we left immediately to find another hotel, even though it was already 1AM at this point. The receptionist was helpful though. We are still waiting to see if we will get a refund.

The room was on the ground floor with an outside window with a broken lock which left the room unsecured contrary to the Virginia Code stated on the room door. Other issues; no closet door, a curtain missing, shower curtain rod about to fall. Plus front door to motel wouldn't open by hand-probably a fire hazard, the game room had unusable games, the exercise room had one weight bench and free weights total, one of the "pools" was covered as if closed for the season. The room was clean, the night clerk was helpful, the breakfast was satisfactory. Score: low paid employees 9- management and maintenance-0. Comfort Inn-you can do better. Shame on you.
