"Comfortable beachside cottages on paradise Island"
Situated on a stunning beach with lovely view across lagoon. Mostly very peaceful although cottages are very close to each other Spacious, comfortable and well equipped A little more thought would make this resort even more enjoyable. A lovely pool and good sun beds but no shade Sun lounger cushions don't get put away at night so smell awful as local stray cats and dogs sleep on them Air con in bedroom but not lounge

"Lovely hotel & tropical garden & right on beach."
We had a beautiful spacious room with view on tropical garden, close to very nice and clean pool, also surrounded by garden. It was nice and quiet (except when the traditional show was on one night up the road, drums and 'singing but it was quite nice hearing the drums). Short walk to the restaurant and bar through the garden. A large 'tent' is set up on the beach where you can have a drink (don't have a frozen pina colada though, it's a slushy with a tonne of sugar...yuck) or dinner with a view of the little island in the lagoon. Good sun loungers around the pool as well as along the beach. Easy walk to other hotels & restaurants along the beach or the road. If you have a late flight you can use the pool & shower facilities and leave bags in the lounge room at reception.

"Busy Hotel but a pleasant stay :)"
The Hotel held an event every night we were staying there, some of which we were required to stay away from the deck and pool area. Other than that, the staff were very accommodating and the rooms were comfortable.

"Great location and host"
Ideally situated on the Sunset Coast for exploring beaches restaurants and activities away from the busier South coast. Excellent swimming pool and friendly staff. Proprietor very 'on to it' in terms of addressing any issues. Can be a little noisy if you bare in unit near the road although having said that a quieter room at the back does not take you away from the local roosters who have difficulty telling the time and den to start the morning chorus at all hours this can happen snywhere on Rarotonga the hotel provides foam earplugs free of charge if farm animal noises do interfere with your sleep.

"Highly recomend"
We've been to Rarotonga 3 times before and wanted self catering for this trip. We had the two bedroom villa which is perfect for two couples. It had two comfortable queen sized beds and each room had ensuite bathrooms. There was a kitchen with good amenities, including large fridge freezer, microwave, and hob. The villa was exceptionally clean. Outside was good sheltered decking area with table, chairs and a sun lounger. The villa is very close to the beach, but perfect for shelter against any wind or rain. ( if you're unlucky with the weather). There are only 5 properties on this resort, so it's very peaceful and relaxing. The owners have done an amazing job with the garden area, with lots of artwork around the place. Very pretty. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They lent us snorkelling gear for the whole time we were there and asked the hire car company to pick us up so we could arrange a car. They recommended good beaches and cafes etc, which saved us time and money. If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask and nothing was too much trouble. The beach is landscaped beautifully, but you can't go in the sea because of the coral. This didn't bother us as we had transport and wanted to try other beaches. (All close by). Fruits of Rarotonga beach excellent for snorkelling, And the beach at Charlie's cafe was a favourite and can hire kayaks and paddle boards Would highly recommend this resort if you want a relaxing place to stay. Well worth the money.

"Fantastic stay would definitely recommend"
Great resort and fantastic location! The resort is situated right on the beach with the most amazing views and spectacular snorkeling. Everyone suggests Muri beach but I thought this was better as quieter. The island is so accessible everything is close anyway. The only downside was some of the service (mainly from the Rarotonga Resort Side) was poor. I am ok with Island time but not ok with rude staff which I experienced on a couple of occasions at the Rarotongan side. Such a shame as everyone else was great and this just let them down a little. Check in was terrible as there was a mix up with our breakfast that was a resort error and they were not going to fix it. After some discussion it was sorted and then everything was fine. I would stay here again though!

Rarotonga is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Rarotonga, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Rarotonga hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
