Fantastic new hotel, literally only just opened in the St Julian's area. Fantastic welcoming staff and super clean massive room. Breakfast was second to none. The areas which were open were beyond superb. A few teething problems which must be expected with a brand new hotel as new staff are being trained and everything is bedding in. Minor gripes are: - The feature point of this hotel must be the roof pool and rooftop bar but unfortunately this hasn't been completed yet and I would suggest it will be a few months yet before it is.(Disappointingly this ISN'T stated on the holiday booking websites). - There is a Hard Rock Cafe at the front of the hotel and the hotel is (sort of) built into the side of a hill. Strangely there is no way to go from the Cafe to the hotel for hotel guests other than by climbing a pretty steep (slightly slippery underfoot) hill which runs beside the hotel so I would have a rethink about staying here if you have mobility issues. St Julians is a pretty lively area and great for the young at heart who like a late night. We loved our short stay here and will definitely return but will definitely wait a few months until everything is up and running smoothly.

First time in Malta. Specifically chose this hotel as I wanted accommodation in Valetta close to St John's Cathedral and Valetta Harbour, though Valetta is only 1km x 1km so any accommodation within the city walls would have been sufficient. This hotel is on a very popular street with several restaurants all with tables and chairs in the street and all competing with each other to play the loudest music. This is no unusual in Valetta but it is excessive. Although local signage asks for quiet after 11pm this happened once, on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday exessive noise went on until after midday, on Thursday and Friday it was after 1am, my 1st Saturday excessive noise went on until 3am.

This hotel is in the middle of a largely residential area but the rest of the island is easily accessible via Uber/Bolt taxis at very reasonable prices. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was very good with a full choice available. It is worthwhile walking around the districts adjoining the property where there are several villages wth small bars and restaurants . We found the local people to be very friendly. Many of the buildings are very historic and beautiful.

We stayed for 4 nights and upgraded to a club king room with sea view which was very nice snd worth it. The property is very well maintained and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The room itself was beautiful. I would only say that the bed is more on the firm side and given our personal preference is a bit softer this would be the only negative. Also if you are a very light sleeper, note you can sometimes hear motorcycles from the main street below even from the 11th floor which the hotel cannot control however the overall comfort and sea view compensated for this. Buffet breakfast was delicious and access to the club suite was convenient since you can grab coffee, refreshments and snacks 24 hours, plus appetizers and alcoholic beverages from 5-7pm. I would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately the senior front of house staff were not suited to hospitality. The cleaning and serving staff were excellent - helpful/friendly. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of different items being regularly replenished. Our room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. The swimming pool was adequate although lacked regular cleaning. A very enjoyable stay.

Location was very central. Breakfast was great. I had a very comfortable stay here. It was a bit expensive but you do get what you pay for. They even have free snacks at 6pm if you stay for 2+ nights

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff
