This place is obviously aging and very little money is put into it, so it is dingy, and becoming a bit dilapidated. Does not look like they have the money to put into it so they're just limping it along. That being said the room was clean.

The room was very spacious and seemingly clean.Staff were nice.But the pool was closed. There was free breakfast.Management was very hospitable! And you can tell they are really trying to get this hotel back up to par!

It is an older Hotel but the rooms were clean, neat, and beds were very comfortable! The Gym was "out of order" due to maintenance but they were more than happy to open it up to my daughter who wanted to use the treadmill. The staff was very friendly and informative with the area.

Came up for the weekend to get married in Presque Isle and the staff was very accommodating. They were able to remedy any issues that came up. As always the rooms were clean and comfortable. Shower was very hot, just how I like it. We also tried the pool this time and that was very warm too.

Parking is easy, but wear boots if it's winter. The snow removal in the parking lot isn't the best, but it's similar to the snow removal everywhere else in town. Winters up there are just a lot. I've stayed here multiple times. Rooms are generally clean. The one time I had an issue the staff was quick to get me to a new room to resolve the problem. All of the staff is very friendly and they are always willing to sort out any problems that may arise. The breakfast is lacking. If you like coffee, toast, oatmeal, and bagels then you'll be fine. Just don't expect a fancy breakfast. I usually bring my own food and just use the microwave in the room. Finally tried the pool on this trip and it was hot like a hot tub. That was great for me, but not everyone in my group enjoys hot pool water. I could have stayed in it all night.

I new owner is slowly doing upgrades as he can. It is a big undertaking so it will take time as it is a very large hotel.The price is much less an the other hotels with pool/breakfast in that city so I can’t complain that much.

Honestly, worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We get there- the water is off, the tv doesn’t work so we switch room. New room- heat doesn’t work (it was negatives outside), tv also doesn’t work, sounded like a literal herd of elephants above us all night. There was no fitness center, indoor pool was closed, no sauna (advertised the hotel had all). Breakfast was laughable. Stale old potatoes, and 1 (just 1) slab that they called an egg. Coffee machine was cool though. We wanted to leave because this place was horrendous. Went to front desk and rang the bell, waited, rang agin, waited some more, no one came. Ended up talking with Expedia and they spoke with someone at the hotel. They let me cancel the stay, but would only refund for 1 of the days. Honestly, don’t waste your time here. There’s plenty of wayyyyy better hotels in Presque Isle

We have used this hotel for years through many owners/ management transitions. New owners have made many updates and staff remain very friendly and helpful. Our latest room was a huge upgrade a large double king with a whirlpool tub . clean room. Only issue was no towels when they were expecting 4' guest in the room, we used our beach towel we planned on using for our routine pool dip. Our grandaughter was devastated the pool wasnt available even we we were told it would be ready in a half an hour. If we had knownthis we would have used another hotel in area with pool. We enjoyed our room but again were shocked and disappointed by the continenteal breakfast. At our last visit it was huge and satisfying this time is was an embarassment. My graddaughter had cold cereal in a half of a plastic take out container as there were no bowls! Only one fuit choice and the waffle maker was off and no subst. We finally checked out early went "out to breakfast" and left Presque Isle early. We will use them again but will call to check on the amenities before confirming. We have family in the area and plan to visit regularly. Hope things this trip were a fluke
