Prescott AZ is so beautiful and so was the hotel we stayed in. It was very cute and quaint. The staff was very friendly and helpful. WE would definitely stay there again.

Not quite what I’d hoped

I wanted to love it… but it was not lovable. Bad smell when I arrived. Uncomfortable and substandard bed and pillows, mildew and/or mold in the shower. Hot water pretty slow to activate & never really got hot, thin walls and boisterous long term tenants. Bringing up the overall score were a select few of the staff that were friendly and helpful, but I can’t even say that was all of them. Should not list “breakfast included” in the listing, that is not accurate. They pack a couple snacks in a brown paper bag and staple it. It’s nice, but it ain’t breakfast.

Positives:Front desk personnel were nice and helpful. The kitchenette had dishes, silverware and pots/pans. Electric fireplace was a nice touch, but only the light worked. Room was reasonably clean. Cons: Door frame appeared to have been kicked in and the room key did not work for the deadbolt. The motel is split into two areas, the one we stayed in ,was across a somewhat busy road, no ice machine for those rooms, and per the front desk lady , there was suppose to be a cooler with ice in the laundry room ( there wasn't any cooler) . The free breakfast they advertised is a paper bag with a granola bar ,fruit and ? , plus coffee. Breakfast hours were from 8am to 10am . One set of stair railings were wobbly. Unfortunately, no elevator. I understand this is a 2 star motel, and I chose this place over the high reviews. I'm wondering if those reviewers stayed in the main motel side and not the side we stayed in.
