The hotel is comfortable, friendly and in a great spot to see all of Prague. The rooms are unsurprisingly small, givens it’s a boat. The only aspect that would have been nice would to have had some small chairs to sit rather than on the bed. But given we wanted to be out exploring Prague it wasn’t a big deal.

We just loved Botel Matylda!! It was an amazing experience to stay on a boat. Our room faced the river, with ducks coming to our window to serenade us! The staff is great and so friendly! The food is amazing! The outdoor patio by the river is a gem. Located in a beautiful section of Prague and about a 10 mi ute walk to Old Town. I definitely recommend botel Matylda, and hope to go there again!

Boat Matylda is in a great location near hotspots and a trolley station. The view from your window across the Vltava River is fantastic. My stay was convenient, beautiful, and fun.

A pleasant change from bricks and mortar hotels

The cabins we had were compact, but tidy and the bathroom was spacious in comparison to the rest of the cabin. Booked the Botel as a change up from the traditional bricks and mortar, good transport links an easy walk from the Botel. The bed was the full width of the cabin so; possibly, not ideal for those with any mobility issues.

The room is single but with a double bed that takes up the whole width. The only place to sit is on the bottom of bed. You wouldn’t want to go back apart from to shower and sleep
