The first room we got smelled so badly of cigarettes. I lasted an hour and started developing a rash. I went to the front desk and asked for a new room which the staff kindly did. The new room was 100% better. Breakfast was basic but at least there's free breakfast! The location was great.

This property is fine, and I will stay here again. I wouldn't discourage anyone from staying here. But this property has been better. I've been staying here regularly the past few years, and every time I am a little more disappointed. The best part of this property is the location if you have a Vassar connection. The breakfast is sub-par for ordinary traveler hotels with complimentary breakfasts. I have never used the pool or exercise room. Connecting to the internet is a hassle, but once connected, it is adequate.

It was a good price and better than I expected at a Quality Inn. Staff was not talkative but nice enough. The room was clean and orderly. Had the smell of an old hotel in the room but it was tolerable. I use ear plugs and a white noise app so I slept like a baby. Overall did the job.

They put a hold authorization of $221.25 then upon arrival charged me $196.25 plus $25.00 deposit. I don’t feel it’s right I have to pay double now and wait for a refund later.

We chose this hotel for its convenience to Vassar College for a visit and it proved to be convenient, comfortable, and affordable. Special appreciation to the night desk clerk who, when I asked if there was a place we could purchase a phone charger because my son had forgotten to bring his, told us that places were closed but quickly offered to loan us one from the front desk.

This place was ok. Rooms were decent but the temperature was hard to control- either too cold or too hot. Pool was freezing. One morning breakfast barely existed- no waffle mix, barely any milk and the toaster and waffle maker didn’t work correctly. The next morning seemed to be slightly better. For some reason housekeeping took all our towels after the first night so we were forced to get new ones but they brought them up to our room very quickly.
