It was clean. Could have had better lighting in the living room area. The microwave cord didn’t reach the outlet and the tub did not drain. Could have used a little “bling”, perhaps a carpet?

The room was very clean and the front desk people were friendly and helpful. The only bad note was the breakfast; the coffee was terrible and the breakfast was toast, biscuits, waffles, bagels and cereal— all starch and carbohydrates!

Upon arrival, the person at the desk was not very welcoming, but not rude. The place smelled like someone used their grandmas perfume to cover up the un-clean smell. 2 TVs in the room, one on the wall with an apparent replacement TV sitting on the cabinet in front...neither worked. 2-sets of towels for 4 guests....the place was just tired and jankety! should have been a $69/night rate. Stay away unless you're a chain smoker and looking for a fix in the parking lot.

The bedding was clean and pillows were comfortable, but I would never stay here again. Very run down and noisy. You can hear everything from outdoors and in adjacent rooms. And the faucet handle was broken off. Awful experience.

The shower still had a clear outline of where a bar of soap had recently festered and hairs on the floor; the bedding smelled like it hadn’t been washed recently, and there was paper trash in the air conditioner/fan unit. In the main building, the entire first floor smells like marijuana.

Convenient and Okay

Stayed 2 nights for Portland. Location was convenient, close to airport and harbor. Visted Fort Williams Park and Cape Elizabeth were nearby. The hotel is run down a bit. Beds were okay. Just average -recommend for a short stay. Breakfast was also just okay, cereal and bagels, basics.
