This was quite a new build overlooking an estuarine river and built into a forested hillside. We had a room that catered to wheelchair patrons on the first floor with a beautiful view out front. We greatly enjoyed having a fantastic breakfast cafe next door that was pure Maine in staff and food. It likely predates the hotel, and their breakfasts are quality home cooking, well known among the locals.

We got room in Riverview building. Room was very spacious and clean. Parking was very convenient and ample. We got a very beautiful view of river. We couldnt find any water fountain or ice machine in that building. one night we got locked out of both our rooms and had to drive to the office building to get keys re-programmed. Breakfast at Freeport Cafe next door was amazing and had wonderful staff. Very friendly and jovial atmosphere.

The pool is not heated and also not at our hotel location. There are two separate hotels. The one we were seated at was a small drive down the road. The front desk was at a separate location. No Continental Breakfast. The walls are paper thin and the floors leaves no secrets what what happens above you. Room was cleaned, AC worked, beds were good.

This hotel is an excellent option for anyone, but especially people traveling with pets. We have stayed here with our dogs multiple times. The pet rooms are in a building that is maybe two-tenths of a mile down the highway from the main hotel building, but both locations are clean, safe, and very close to Freeport. The facility and rooms are very clean, and the air conditioning worked, though it left the room feeling damp. Unfortunately, neither of the buildings had an ice machine, a drawback in the summer time, or vending in the separate building. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was fantastic!
