Port Byron Vacation Packages

I stayed here last Saturday night, 10/3/26 I realized a few days later I had been double charged for the stay. I had made the reservation on Expedia, and when I arrived was apparently charged onsite as well upon check in. This was bizarre, as I gave my name and verbally confirmed that my reservation had been through Expedia and not directly with the hotel Location was fine, convenient to Syracuse and Baldwinsville. Room was fairly clean. However, I was assigned room 115. I was given a key card, which didn't work in the door. Upon pointing this out to the desk clerk, she remembered that "oh yeah, it's broken and we can only open it with a key". So she had to physically let me into the room twice that night and once again in the morning. Didn't offer me a different room, saying she couldn't do that. Like I said, room was clean. However, in additional to the keycard lock, the safety lock on the inside of the door was broken off, and the door itself was a little bent. Had been clearly kicked in at some point. I'm working to see if I can get a refund from being double charged for the room. Really unhappy with that.

Very nice quaint hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Loved having the onsite restaurant. Only drawback were the beds were a little too soft.
