"Everything you could want in a holiday hotel..."
I love all the centrally situated hotels in Porretta Terme, but the Roma is probably my favourite. It's bang slap in the middle of town, the staff could hardly be more friendly (to be fair, a trait it also shares with its nearest competitors) and the rooms are spacious and clean (including decent sized showers, very useful for a lardy lad like myself...) The breakfast buffet is plentiful and well stocked at all times and the coffee is great, too. If there's any downside to the Roma experience it's that it is situated behind one of the busiest bars in town, and it can get noisy at night time if two or three volatile Italians are having an extended conversation outside once the bar closes. But that's not the fault of the Hotel and doesn't count as a 'black mark' against an otherwise excellent, value for money establishment....

"Very modern,clean Hotel."
Definitely a 5 star and staff was very accommodating. If you are wanting to experience the true Italian atmosphere I would recommend an older hotel with character. This was very modern ans had rhe New York. Las Vegas feel inside.

"Hotel staff helpful, excellent cleaning staff, but"
We generally had a positive stay here and housekeeping staff and front desk people were pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was not particularly noteworthy even though it is stated as fine dining. The hotel obviously has no interest in running its bar which is supposed to be open at 5 for cocktail hour. Whenever we wanted to get served there, someone at the front desk had to be asked to have someone at the bar. We then waited for someone to come from the restaurant, who seemed put out to be asked. Often they couldn't make a cocktail and left immediately after waiting on us. We have stayed in hotels in the same city whose bar area was staffed and patronized better. They should just close their bar because no effort is made to operate it.

"lovely Hotel for all your Spa needs"
Grotta Giusti is a lovely hotel me and my wife had our "mini moon" here before our main honeymoon. the staff was very helpful even went to the trouble of complimentary champagne, chocolates and an extra 20% off spa treatments as we just got married. the a la carte menu was a bit pricey but for the service you receive and the quality of the food served its worth it i think the wine and champagne selection is phenomenal. but if all that is not your thing a short walk into the local town there is a lovely restuarant called Sotto Grottthe spa had every treatment imaginable even a nasal mucus irrigation if thats your thing. overall a great stay

"Cozy Place on Town Square"
This cozy, small hotel is located right on the central square of a typical and quaint Italian mountain village. We ate breakfast at the hotel each morning, which the proprietors prepared themselves. Jennifer and Claudio (owners) were very helpful when we planned itineraries for the day. We used the hotel as a base to explore the surrounding area, including Florence and Bologna. Traveling with 4 teens is not easy, but this hotel had the right sized rooms to accommodate us.

Porretta Terme is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Porretta Terme, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Porretta Terme hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
