Do not stay here

Check in went well. Libby is nice. Rooms are not clean(hair in bed & shower, items on floor & in drawers) and mold covered the furniture in the pool area. Breakfast consistently has options missing and the cook literally yelled at all of us for going to the front desk saying they can’t do anything anyway, so stop going to them! We were refused towels & none were in the pool area, due to there being only 1 staff member on the entire property! Fire alarms went off at 3 AM and we had to evacuate outside. After sitting outside for almost 2 hours, we were told everything was cleared and we could return inside. We had no power at all in our rooms. Within two minutes of returning to our rooms, we were told to evacuate because there was an active fire in our area. THIS WAS VERY CONFUSING AS WE WERE JUST TOLD IT WAS SAFE & SENT INSIDE A BUILDING WITH AN ACTIVE FIRE! Once finally returning to our rooms another hour plus later, i wanted to leave but was too exhausted to drive so I decided to ship breakfast and nap. The hotel manager banged on the door saying housekeeping at 10:58am when check out is 11am & there was no cart in sight! He knew what happened and that all of the guest were sitting outside for hours from 3am and his response was to bang on the guest room doors BEFORE THE OFFICIAL CHECKOUT TIME! He does not care about his guest! Other guest has to change rooms 3x! This isn’t even everything that occurred, but I’m out of characters. I would like a full refund immediately!

@4:33 am we got evacuated out the hotel for a circuit burn and melt down. Power went out and we were outside for two hours some folks was sitting outside, in their cars sleeping with their kids! Older people panicking and could move fast as they were rushing them instead of helping them!! The beds had hair in them! Water was scorching hot in the hotel~ it will burn anyone! The house keeper on the second floor was so rude and disrespectful when asked towels! Front desk was so lazy and dress like he was at home and got an attitude because we asked him to please get us towels! The maintenance man was very kind every time we seen him! Respectful man~ Sunday morning front desk lady was extremely kind and job well done for her as well as the night over night gentleman~ he was a gem, all the way around he did a fantastic job! I will never ever recommend this hotel to anyone who solo or a family trip! It’s close to the zoo and aquarium but not worth the stay or money mad 😠

Check in was straight forward. There are many side entrances so getting to your car is easy. Room was updated and clean but the mattresses were on the older side. You could hear road noise and neighbors. We did have a fire alarm our second night at 3:45. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was basic, nothing over the top. Overall, if you’re looking for a hotel on the cheaper end of the spectrum and don’t want or need lots of extra frills this could be for you. Location was very convenient to the Zoo and local mall and restaurants.

This is a large motel, and I think they have some water issues, because the room felt dank and humid. Bathroom floor was dirty, I noticed some small stains on the sheets. The pool area is nice and large, but the pool seemed really over chlorinated. Breakfast was ok but many hot items were out by 8am and seemingly not replenished.

We stayed here for the U.S. Open and it was perfect for our short stay. The rooms were clean, not super modern, but they were pretty good. Bed was comfortable. Check in was very easy. The price was reasonable. Area was safe with lots of restaurants and fast food places around it. The best part was the morning breakfast! Prior to heading out for the day, we enjoyed a fresh, warm breakfast at the hotel. The woman, who I assumed had prepared the meal, seemed to take a lot of pride in her work. Tasted good and was fresh! I would definitely stay here again!

The front desk staff and the room was good except there were used towels thrown in the drawer of the bathroom vanity. The breakfast was OK but tables weren’t being wiped and there were 4 tables dirty when we arrived for breakfast so I got some napkins and wiped one so we could sit at it, no staff around. Another lady knocked on the door to the kitchen to ask staff to refill the coffee, this happed both days we were there. Customers then asked for plates as there were no plates on the counter for customers to use. We won’t be staying here again.

We use this hotel because of its location to our family in Pittsburgh. We have stayed at this facility for many years and find that the breakfast buffet which we use to give rave reviews is now mediocre at best. Our room was clean, and the staff are doing a better job at keeping the entrances clean and picked up.
