Unhealthy and Rundown

This hotel needs to be demolished. It absolutely reeked like mildew, our AC unit was loud/rusty/old, and there was no carpeting in the hallway... just bare concrete. The pictures of the hotel online must be from 25 years ago, because this was the most rundown hotel I've ever stayed at. We stayed at a motel instead on night #3 and it felt like the Ritz Carlton compared to this not-so-Quality Inn.

They were doing some construction, so the hallway had no carpeting. Our room was musty and the air conditioner was so loud we could not use it.

Its what we needed when we needed it. Did have trouble finding it as the gps put us in the middlle of a road 2 minutes away but after a quick u-turn we found it.

The room was nasty! Stains mold and weed remnants left in the trash can ceiling were all discolored too yuck. I left and sidnt even stay couldn't get a refund! Definitely should of done trip insurance

The property is doing remodeling. Check in was difficult only because the clerk had just started that day. Room was clean, bed comfortable and their pet stay charge is reasonable, tho I prefer Motel Six no pet fee policy. Coffee in lobby was great, the breakfast just so so. Check out clerk very friendly and knowledgeable. I would stay here again for the price.

half the hotel was being renovated. they put us on the half that was being renovated, we were tripping over paint cans to get inside our room. i complained ann they put us on the other side that was ok. we should have known about this renovation. i wouldn’t have stayed there. from now on inform me of this. very disappointed. harry and vicki halsey

If you are skiing NubsNob or Boyne Highlands, this is very close and definately north of the chaos of the city of Petosky. Stayed a couple times this past winter and the staff was wonderful!

Hotel was under construction. The room and exterior doors did not operate well. Breakfast was toast, cereal, or waffle maker. Our first room had no AC. This place was rated 8.4 on hotels.com. Anybody who is leaving 10 star reviews for this hotel at $250 a night is a bot or has been paid.

There was Mould and peeled wallpaper in the room. Shower curtains were torn and one of the receptionists were plain rude though check in and checkout were efficient and easy. Bed linen was clean as well. The pictures in this were misleading and the place was much worse.

The room was very dirty. Stains on furniture room smelled of mildew covered up by some sort of air freshener. Also some scary guests witnessed an argument between a couple in parking lot the male was aggressive and it scared my wife. Felt unsafe.
