There was no one to check in with but there was a phone number to call. It only took a few minutes before someone came to check me in. There was a bit of a mix up with my booking but was sorted out in short order.This is a family owned and operated hotel from my understanding. The restaurant was closed, I was told this was because a family matter. Older hotel that could use an update, but although older it was clean and had no complaints that regard. Very easy to get to as it's right off of the highway. It may not be a 5 star hotel but if you're on a road trip and need over night accommodations it's good value for the money.

Motel was old and needs updating. Had to wait for someone to come and let us in and provide key. Had trouble getting room door to open, room was fairly clean, bathroom door wouldn't close properly. Our second day there was a power outage, no emergency lighting, no water, no heat. we checked out and no compensation for the inconvenience. Wasn't expecting a lot, booked because it was close to family we were visiting, but seriously below expectations.

I liked the old country feel of the Inn and the attached restaurant. Good service and good food. 1/2 price breakfast when you stay at the Inn. Great stay for a cheap price. Not too far away from Ottawa.
