The Rosen Inn was a very convenient hotel to stay at during my Universal trip since it offered shuttle services to the Universal theme parks and there was a lot to do in the area.

This hotel is a basic hotel which was perfect for what we needed. We hired a car so this location was perfect to get to universal and Disney. If you don't have a car then don't fret, a shuttle bus can be booked (first come first serve) or the local bus stops virtually outside the hotel to take you to city walk.

Staff was great. Rooms were average. Our first room smelled really bad and we had to be given a new room. Some of the hallways smelled a little funny but it was decent overall.

Also very close to Universal, Disney and many other attractions and activities as well as many stores, food places, restaurants and bars. Some beaches are also close if driving.

Very average, couldn’t get into hotel room one day. Shows ID staff member said it’s not a drivers license from the US passport was in the hotel safe. Security came they couldt get in either. Turned out battery on the lock was flat. Maintenance had to come along, then had to wait ages for hotel to recut keys. Star had a real attitude problem and did everything she possibly could to take time and not accept my overseas driver license as ID. Terrible customer service.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very smooth check in process, and the hotel room was clean. Definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area. They also have a free shuttle service to the Universal theme parks (reservations required).
